Our research is centered on the evolutionary ecology of plant pathogens, in particular obligate biotrophic oomycetes. In our research group, we leverage a broad spectrum of disciplines and specializations—including cell biology, ecology, evolutionary biology, taxonomy, genomics, and molecular phytopathology—to explore the biological diversity of oomycetes (plant parasites) and their hosts.
